Win Rik Mayall DVDs

The complete series of both The New Statesman and Rik Mayall Presents are to be released on DVD next Monday (October 2)

And to celebrate, we have two copies of each to give away. The winner will receive both sets – plus a Panasonic S29EB-S DVD player, below, to play them on – with two runners-up each receiving one of the releases

The New Statesman comes on four series containing all 26 episodes made for ITV between 1987 and 1994, as well as a 60-minute Who Shot Alan B’Stard special? and audio commentaries with creators Lawrence Marks and Maurice Gran on three of the episodes.

There’s more than 700 minutes of Parliamentary backstabbing on the disc, which retails at £39.99

Meanwhile, Rik Mayall Presents, right, contains all six episodes of the ITV series designed to showcase Mayall ‘s versatility. He plays such diverse roles as a paranoid TV show host, an uncontrollable liar who pretends to be a gangster and a man on a date who is trapped in a cycle of escalating comic violence. The ccast includes the likes of  Amanda Donohoe, Helena Bonham Carter, Nick Hancock and Lee Evans .

This two-disc set is priced £19.99

But to stand a chance of winning, answer the following question by October 6, when we will randomly select winners from all answers received. Bulk entrants from mailing services will be disqualified.

Good luck!
